A man in the U.K. says that Amazon sent him DOG FOOD instead of the iPhone that he actually ordered.
When he reported it to them he said they initially refused to issue a refund. They refused since he signed for it, but after he reached out to a UK Consumer Affairs program they’ve since made it right.
He even went as far as reporting it to the police. They informed him that Amazon would have to investigate and contact the authorities once they discover how the switch happened.
After Amazon was contacted by the consumer affairs program the man received a full a refund and promised a full investigation. This seems to be a bit of an issue in the UK and now some people are starting to record when they open their packages as proof of what was delivered.
