FLASHBACK: Foo Fighters on ‘Carpool Karaoke’

Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins would've turned 51 today (February 17.) In addition to his talent behind the kit, he was also a very funny guy. One of his funnier moments came in September 2017.

The band was taking part in "Carpool Karaoke" on The Late Late Show with James Corden. Whenever a rock artist was in the car with Corden, it was a big deal. More often than not, the segment was usually dominated by pop stars.

The highlight of the segment culminates with a visit to Guitar Center for a spontaneous jam. When the Foos and Corden pull up to the store, they're greeted by a massive photo of Hawkins above the music store’s entrance. It was easily one of the best organic laughs in the entire segment.

The ensuing jam is also pretty great, and it includes Rick Astley. The '80s pop singer was popping up during Foo Fighters shows at that time when they were touring overseas.
