Some residents in a California town want a rock sculpture removed . . . because of its “phallic” shape.
The residents of Hollister what a sculpture that has been in front of the town administration for 30 years removed. It is an eight foot stone sculpture that is very phallic in shape. The artist says the piece was inspired by the Pinnacles National Monument.

Now some residents are calling the sculpture offensive and want it removed. They say it makes them uncomfortable when walking past.
It’s estimated to cost anywhere from $20,000 to $50,000 to remove the artwork.
