A Man Was Arrested After He Had His Fentanyl Delivered to a Restaurant
A 41-year-old man in Maine was arrested after the owners of Mac’s Grill opened a package mailed to the restaurant.
When the owners opened up the package they discovered $3 MILLION worth of fentanyl inside. The restaurant actually thought it was a shipment of mugs they ordered.
Once they realized it was drugs they called the police. The guy that had the drugs shipped, Jeremy Mercier, showed up to ask about the package. That’s when the police were there to take him into custody.
The shipping container was made to look like it contained motorcycle, but instead contained about 14 kilos of fentanyl. It is unknow why Mercier shipped the drugs to this restaurant, he has no known connections to the business.
Federal charges are expected to filed against Mercier soon.
