Indianapolis Man Arrested After Shooting At A Mouse Outside His Home
A man in Indiana was arrested after shooting at a mouse . . . outside . . . that was in a trap.
According to reports, 22-year-old Frankie Rosa was shooting in the direction of neighbors, including an eight-year-old. After the shot was fired the neighbor called 911. Rosa wanted to kill the mouse that was on a sticky trap instead of letting the mouse die on its own.
When cops arrived they could not find a shell casing and Rosa said he did not know where it went, even though he had put it in his pocket.
Rosa would not give police permission to search his home, but told them the gun was in the house under his pillow. The officers eventually got a search warrant and looked in Rosa’s bedroom.
Officers found the spent 9mm shell casing on the floor, a black 9mm and a magazine plus a locked safe.
After finding the key to the safe officers uncovered a receipt for the gun, scale, a pill bottle with Alprazolam, Clonazepam, Xanax and Oxycodone Hydrochloride.
He was charged with criminal recklessness.
