University of Wisconsin college students were celebrating Labor day on a packed pier in the water. The pier collapsed, sending the crowd into the lake below. Multiple students suffered minor injuries that were treated at the scene with one student being hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries. There was an estimated 70 people on the pier, many of whom swam to shore or clung to the pier awaiting a rescue boat to take them to shore. Luckily, no one was seriously injured but from the looks of it they had way too many people on that pier.
