Keanu Reeves having his home burglarized and a firearm stolen sounds like something that happened in his John Wick films. However, a group of burglars actually broke into the action star's Hollywood Hills home recently, authorities told ABC7. Fortunately, at the time of the burglary, no one was home. The break-in was reported by an anonymous caller at about 6:30 p.m., prompting a response from the Los Angeles Police Department's Hollywood division. The caller reported four suspects, captured by a surveillance camera entering the home through a window at the rear of the hillside residence, an LAPD spokesperson said.

Per gossip website TMZ, the burglars wore ski masks and fled the area before police arrived. Later, police arrived back at Reeves' property at around 1 a.m. when an alarm was activated at the house. This time, officers reported multiple men in ski masks spotted on security cameras, smashing a window and entering the house. According to the gossip site's sources, the culprits took one firearm from the home before making a run for it. It is unclear if anything else was taken at this time. Detectives are still looking at video surveillance from the home and around the neighborhood for more clues. Apparently, the police are specifically looking into whether the first call to the cops was made by someone scoping out to rob the house.

Leave Keanu Alone

This isn't the first time the Matrix alum's home was attempted to be burglarized in the past. In 2014, the actor had two cases of back-to-back intruders. Both times, it was a woman. The first broke in when he was sleeping, and he found her in her library and talked to her briefly before calling the police. Two days later, another woman entered Keanu's home through an unlocked door while he wasn't home. This time, this woman got naked and jumped in his shower, then took a skinny dip in his pool. Both women were taken away for mental evaluations. Additionally, Reeves was granted a temporary restraining order against an alleged stalker who he says showed up at his home earlier this year, claiming the two are related.
