Stolen Car Flips Over After Ignoring ‘Closed Road’ Signs (PICTURES)

Look, chances are if you're willing to steal a car, you're probably also going to ignore road signs. That can be a big problem if the signs are warning you of a closed road. That could mean danger is ahead. Well, a stolen car in Oregon flipped over after ignoring some closed road signs.

Seriously, these signs are up for a reason. Probably not the smartest idea to decide to ignore them. Let's meet the guy who made that mistake.

Well, after ignoring the closed road signs, this stolen car fell into a hole that was caused by a landslide, per the Tillamook County Sheriff's Office. In pictures, you can see the damage and the car flipped over inside a hole in the road. Looks like those signs should have been taken seriously. There's no way you could drive down that road!

According to FOX 12, the individuals inside the car had run away prior to the police arriving. FOX 12 reports Tillamook County Sheriff's Deputy Ben Berger said, "The road has been closed for sometime, but they removed the barrier and road closed signs and drove directly into the hole. This has been an ongoing problem, with people removing the barriers and driving on the closed portion of the road. Obviously, it is extremely dangerous.

FOX 12 reports that the owner of the stolen car alerted 911 to report their stolen car about an hour after the crash. They live about five miles from the scene of the accident. Police are still investigating the matter. Anyone with info is asked to contact Deputy Ben Berger at 503-815-3392.

That's wild! Even criminals need to adhere to road signs. It's even worse that people aren't just ignoring the road signs, but physically removing them? Not a great idea!

While committing crimes may seem black and white (you either broke the law or you didn't), there are certainly some crimes that are dumber than others. These crimes, and criminals, aren't straight up cringeworthy.
