Slash has a unique track record of showing up in unlikely places. Among them are the Barbie soundtrack, a Captial One ad and shopping Craigslist guitars with Conan O'Brien. However, few could ever anticipate the guitar icon showing up as a featured guest on a single from The Dandy Warhols.

Embedded below is "I'd Like To Help You With Your Problem," which features Slash. The track is described as having "a real Vietnam-era acid rock sound." That sound and track are off the indie band's new album, Rockmaker, which comes out on March 15. The album is available for pre-order here.

Per Louder, The Dandy Warhols frontman Courtney Taylor-Taylor said of Slash's contribution, "The first time we heard it back in our studio we just stared at each other with our mouths open ... I’ve never heard him play quite like that, but what is so fascinating to me is that it is clearly him playing."

While Slash continues to do unlikely things, the guitarist did say something that is unlikely ever to happen is a Guns N' Roses biopic. He touched on this topic in a July 2023 interview with Yahoo! Entertainment. He doesn't rule out there ever being a GN'R biopic. However, he doesn't think one will be in the works anytime soon. His biggest concern is having a film that captures what Guns N' Roses was back in the day.

Slash says, "I mean, it's one thing to try and find actors to represent the people in the band, but the other thing is all sort of theatrical depictions of life in the music scene and the everyday life of musicians and all that kind of stuff."

He continues, "It's always some fabricated, over-exaggerated bullsh-t, and it's very rare that you see a movie that actually feels genuine ... I've seen a lot of bad [biopics], and they freak me out."
