Mugshot Of The Day!

It's the Mugshot Of The Day on Dave & Chuck The Freak! Today, we're heading down to Florida to meet this criminal. So, what did a Florida man shove up his butt?

Several decisions were made in this story, and none of them were the correct one. Let's dive in.

Mugshot Of The Day: What Did A Florida Man Shove Up His Butt?

Today, we're telling the tale of a 33-year old Florida man. His name is Robert Seth Whittaker. Whittaker was arrested after putting something up his butt. Actually, something dangerous up his butt! So, what was it?

Well, it was fentanyl up his butt. Yes, he was stashing fentanyl in his anus. That is not a smart choice! Fentanyl is incredibly dangerous, and can be lethal even to the touch! You do not want to store it in any of your orifices, especially your anus!

Turns out, that's not all! Yes, there's more to the story! According to CBS 12, Whittaker was on probation for drug charges and when deputies were doing a search of his home, they found drugs. CBS 12 reports deputies said, "Once at the jail, a cavity search was being conducted when a chunk of purple powder fell out of his anus. That powder was confirmed to be fentanyl."

More To This Florida Man Story

Later, they learned that he had also stashed a large quantity of fentanyl under the rear seat of the patrol car he was taken away in. Again, not a great decision! That could put other people's lives in danger, and the police officers who are arresting and handling you. I don't think they'd appreciate that. Not a good way to go about business if you're hoping to catch a break. That definitely won't help your case.

CBS 12 reports that law enforcement found 32 grams of fentanyl under the rear seat once it had been removed. Whittaker has been charged with trafficking in fentanyl, felony violation of probation, introduction of contraband into a jail facility, tampering with evidence, (my hand is starting to hurt writing out all of these charges), and possession of drug paraphernalia, per CBS 12.

10 Celebrity Mug Shots That Are Now Iconic

The modern mug shot was invented in 1888, and famous portraits have been coming out ever since. From the days of the Wild West to today, mug shots have shown the faces of arrested citizens and celebrities, alike. For some celebrities, it's hard to hide from the past when their mug shot is iconic.

The original purpose of a mug shot was to give law enforcement a photographic record of arrested individuals. While still used for that today, it's become a common thing to end up seeing some of these celebrity mug shots on t-shirts and monetized in some way.

Mug shots go on to become iconic for a number of reasons. These reasons vary, and are rarely ever for a good reason. Sometimes it's for the story behind the arrest. However, most of the time it seems like these pictures end up going viral because of how the individual looks in the picture.

When you hear the phrase 'celebrity mug shot,' who do you think of? Is there one specific example that comes to mind? There have been several over the hundreds of years of their existence that have stuck out, for one reason or another. Some of these photos will live on in infamy forever, unfortunately. However, others have totally embraced their photo. It's different for each case and person, and understandably so.

I put together a list of 10 iconic celebrity mug shots. All of these stand out amongst the others. For some, it's how bad they look. On the other hand, some mug shots are iconic and famous for how good they look. Every picture is noteworthy for its own unique reason.

In 1938, Sinatra was arrested and booked on charges of Seduction. Looking at this mug shot, I believe it.

Bet you didn’t expect to see his name and face here. In 1977, he was arrested for running a stop sign and driving without a license.

No stranger to being arrested, Jane Fonda gave us this iconic mug shot in 1970.

The internet was buzzing waiting for this mug shot to drop in mid-2023. It was replicated by politicians and comedians, alike. It was instantly iconic.

So many bad decisions!

Cort Freeman was born and raised in Metro Detroit. He was named Clarkston High School 2009 Class Clown 13 years after graduating. Totally normal thing to happen. That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
