Why did an angry woman get naked at the airport? It’s one way to protest, I suppose.

It turns out there’s a difference between staying somewhere on vacation and staying somewhere on a visa. If you overstay your welcome on a visa, it could end up costing you! That’s what happened to this woman and she was not happy to cough up the money! Here’s more on the story below.

What Made An Angry Woman Get Naked At The Airport?

According to The New York Post, Thuytrang Nguyen was set to return to Vietnam from a stay in the Philippines when officials at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport demanded she pay a fine on the spot for overstaying.

Clearly, that was not what she wanted to hear nor what she was ready to do. She reacted by stomping off to the bathroom only to re-emerge totally naked, per The New York Post. In video recorded from the scene, she was seen calmly walking through the security area walking right past the security station at the immigration counter.

This caused a whole new set of issues. Nguyen was initially not permitted to leave due to the possibility of psychological issues, per The New York Post. You can’t blame them! If she can just go in the bathroom and come out naked ready for a leisurely stroll through the airport, who knows what she’s capable or willing to do?

Eventually, she did pass a medical check and was allowed to board a flight to Hanoi. She did settle her overstayed visa fee. Like we mentioned earlier, the whole thing was, indeed, caught on camera (like most incidents are these days). You can watch the trending video below. Don’t end up like this lady! Know when it’s time to leave so you don’t have to face any unexpected fines.
