Florida Man Goes To The Extreme To Keep Girlfriend From Getting His Phone Passcode

A Florida man went to the extreme to keep his girlfriend from getting his phone passcode! It looks like he might be hiding some dark secrets!

When your girlfriend asks you for your phone, you have to just hand it over. She asks for your phone passcode? You have to give it to her. Otherwise, it looks like you're totally hiding something! You can argue privacy all you want, but it's unlikely to work with your significant other. Now, this guy is probably single after choosing to not give her the code. Sometimes, you'd rather jump into the ocean than give your girlfriend your phone passcode. Even when she's simply trying to help you! Giving his girlfriend his phone passcode might have gotten him out of legal trouble, or could have helped things, but he chose to keep it to himself.

Bodycam footage from the scene shows this Florida Man, identified only as AJ, jumping in the water to avoid giving his girlfriend his phone passcode, per Daily Mail. It also appears he might have been trying to avoid any legal problems (which only ended up creating more legal issues for himself). Daily Mail reports that Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission officers approached AJ's vessel for a separate report but found several violations of maritime codes. So, police tried to get AJ's ID but he claimed he didn't have an ID on him and ended up jumping in the ocean to try to flee, per Daily Mail.

Things were not going well for AJ and you can see him getting increasingly frustrated in the viral video. The whole time his girlfriend can be seen and heard in the video telling him to calm down and trying to de-escalate the scene. Eventually, she has his phone and asks him for his passcode so she can get in and help. I'm not sure what she meant, but maybe she was going to call someone or show a picture of his ID, but it does seem like she was trying to help him get out of trouble, and wasn't trying to sneak and see if he was texting other girls. However, he wouldn't co-operate, even with her.

Eventually, even the girlfriend seems to have had enough. She can be heard telling AJ, "We are done after this, I'm telling you. I'm leaving." Ouch. Probably should have just given her his phone! Maybe he wouldn't be in as much trouble! Officers did end up apprehending him and it's not clear what he's been charged with.
