It's a bit of Chuck Luck that the car he hit happened to be a police patrol car but it's a valuable lesson not to eat behind the wheel! Thankfully, nobody was injured during the accident.
Detroit Driver Read-Ends Cop Car While Eating Chicken Wings
We cannot advise eating chicken wings behind the wheel. Sure, they might be hot and ready for you to consumer in the car, but it's best to just wait and eat them at home. That way you can eat them as sloppy as you choose and even get your preferred dipping sauce out to maximize your enjoyment. Plus, if you wait and eat them at home you're less likely to rear-end a cop car. Can't say it won't happen if you're eating chicken wings at home, but certainly less likely.
According to The Detroit Free Press, the 73-year-old man was eating chicken wings while driving around 3:15pm on the John C. Lodge Freeway Service Drive at West Grand Boulevard. It sounds like the trooper was stopped in the left center lane during a red light when the man struck him from behind in his vehicle. It was then confirmed by police that he was, indeed, eating chicken wings at the time of the accident.
The Freep reports that nobody was injured during the accident and there was minor vehicle damage. The man was cited for the incident. There's no word on where the wings are from but I imagine they're all trying to find out because it could be used in a future advertisement, or something. "So good you'll crash into a cop car." Who knows? I've seen stranger advertisements, that's for sure.
Wings are one of the foods that seem like they'd be tough to eat while driving. Picking at some fast-food fries or eating a burger is much easier, not that you should! It's still distracted driving. However, some foods are easier to eat on the road than others. Personally, I never get Taco Bell if I'm going on a road trip or know I'll be eating on-the-go. It's too difficult! I have to apply the sauce and then toppings leak out of the opposite side I'm eating from. It's a mess and it's never worth it. I love Taco Bell, but not while on the road.
I feel like chicken wings can be tough to eat too. You have to navigate a bone, find the dipping sauce, it requires a bit more effort on the driver's part than simply eating a burger. Don't drive distracted. It can be incredibly dangerous. Just wait until you get home to eat.
Are These The Best French Fries In Fast Food?
It's a timeless debate. Right up there with "is a hot dog a sandwich?" There may be no definitive answer, but it's always worth discussing. Who has the best fries in all of fast food?
Everyone is entitled to their own option and taste (literally). However, let's be honest, there can only be one winner. There's only allowed to be one winner, and one fry declared the best above all the rest. One fry to rule them all.

Every Day Is Fry Day
When talking about the best fries in fast food, there are no shortage of options. That's for sure. You've got your national big brands. Then you've got your local specialties. Then, there's also the regional restaurants that aren't in every state, but aren't strictly in one city, either. We're taking everything into consideration.
Of course, ranking the best fries in fast food is no easy task. Much like a snowflake, every list is certain to be different. I mean, they're all on the menu for a reason. If they didn't taste good they'd be long gone. It's the same thing with professional sports. Even the worst player on the team is still incredible when you think about it.
I'm no stranger to fast food, the cashier at my local establishment recognizes me when I pull up in the drive-thru. It's a blessing and a curse, I suppose. So, with that type of experience and dedication I think my list can be deemed credible and valid.
What To Look For In A Fry
Personally, I love a good crunch. A well-done fry is a fry well-done. I'm not big on wet fries or greasy soft fries. They've also got to be independently great. If you need ketchup or ranch in order to enjoy the fries then they must not be that great!
Consistency is key, as well. It can't be one of those "oh one time I had them and they were fantastic, but ever since they aren't great." No one hit wonders here. The best fry in fast food has to be something you can depend on. It's reliable and every time you drive-thru you know what you're getting.
Let's not delay. Here are my rankings of the best fries in fast food. You may agree with some, you may hate some of these picks. That's totally up to you. I will say, some big names are off the list, and likely for a reason.

Didn't expect Taco Bell to make a list of best fries; yet, here they are. I mean...you can dunk anything in Nacho Cheese and it'll be amazing. However, these fries are legit. I love that spice spice on them. Mmm, baby.
5. KFC
The wedges are better than you'd expect! Crunchy and delicious. Dip them in the gravy and life can't get much better. Definitely a pleasant surprise.
