‘There I Ruined It’ Does A Weed-Themed ‘Reading Rainbow’ Cover
There I Ruined It is at it again. This time they did a weed-themed Reading Rainbow cover and it’s as catchy as you’d expect.
I guess there’s a reason they go by There I Ruined It because now anytime I hear the Reading Rainbow theme song I will definitely now be thinking of this. This is hardly the first time they’ve done it. Unfortunately, it won’t be the last either. They are very good at what they do with these catchy tunes.
‘There I Ruined It’ Does A ‘Reading Rainbow’ Cover About Weed
If it doesn’t sound familiar, you might have seen ‘There I Ruined It’ before with their viral hit that made it sound like Johnny Cash singing “Barbie Girl” or many of their other videos that have gone viral. Basically, if they put out a song or video it’s going to go viral. The account is very good at what it does and that’s why it has 3.5 million followers on TikTok and 1.06 million subscribers on YouTube. Now, they’re going viral for a Reading Rainbow parody about weed.
It’s a clever and catchy song, like you would expect it to be. However, in a way, they aren’t just ruining the song for us, they’re ruining part of our childhood! Is nothing scared anymore? It’s still really funny, though. The TikTok video has been like nearly 66k times and has 982 comments. It sounds like some of the commenters have a similar perspective as me with Tim Parent saying, “sacrilegiously good.” Others are pointing out ways it could have been better which is so typical of the internet.
Check out the viral video below. Do you love it? Or do you think it’s ruining your childhood? There seems to be a bit of a debate going on in the comments section. There are some good ones and it’s probably worth checking out after you watch the video.
So catchy! Everything they touch turns to gold, it’s a magnificent skill they have with these songs. I’m going to give credit to the people behind it. I’m sure Artificial Intelligence is largely to thank, but I want this to be successful because of the human behind it. Even if there is some A.I. involved. What did you think? Is it one of their best work? It’s definitely one of the catchier songs I’ve heard from There I’ve Ruined It lately.
