What are the most asked sex questions in 2024? We now have answers--and questions...and answers to the questions.

Google can be an incredibly helpful tool. Whether you're doing research or trying to find a product you liked and want to buy you can always get what you're looking for with just a couple simple search terms. It turns out, Google is also a pretty reliable place to go to ask about sex. Sometimes, it can be weird to go to a parent or friend, so you turn to the internet. We now know the most asked sex questions in 2024.

What Are The Most Asked Sex Questions?

There are no shortage of questions people might have about sex. You might be young and just learning about it for the first time. Or, you might be an adult and trying to keep up with the latest terms being used in bedroom slang. If you have the internet, you've probably looked up some sex questions at some point. Hopefully you were able to find some accurate answers--the internet can be a dark and twisted place.

Emisil.com conducted a study analyzing the search volume for various terms and queries related to sex in order to find what the most asked sex questions are globally on the internet. After examining the average monthly search numbers for these different sex-related questions they had their list of the questions that were being asked the most frequently. Then, they even provided answers to these questions.

According to Emisil.com, the most asked sex question on the internet, with 270 million global searches, is, "why do people have sex?" An interesting question, I suppose. Sounds like it might be coming from someone inexperienced who's just learning about sex. However, it could be someone wondering why we're driven to do it. I'm not sure if they're talking about the scientific reasons or why we do it for leisure. It explains that humans have sex for many reasons including procreation, pleasure, intimacy, a connection, and boredom. Okay, it didn't mention boredom but I'm adding it to the list.

Coming in 2nd on Emisil.com's list of the most frequently asked sex-related questions online is, "is sex good for you?" It has 265 million global searches. I bet the people searching are really hoping the results come up saying "yes." The study details how there are many emotional and physical benefits to having sex in a safe and consensual manner including stress reduction, mood enhancement, and relationship-building.

The 3rd most frequently asked sex-related question, according to Emisil's study, is, "does sex hurt?" A good question to ask if you're thinking about becoming sexually active. I think far less people would be sexually active if it was painful every time. The study notes that sex should not hurt and if it does it's important to communicate and address any concerns.

Other frequently asked sex questions mentioned in Emisil's study include, "are sex toys safe?", "how much sex is normal?", and, "does penis size matter?" All important questions that I understand people wanting answers to. "How can I have good sex?" also made Emisil's list which shows people aren't just learning about the science behind sex, they're looking for tips.

Cort Freeman was born and raised in Metro Detroit. He was named Clarkston High School 2009 Class Clown 13 years after graduating. Totally normal thing to happen. That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
