Was a UFO shot down over Canada? That’s what many people are saying after seeing video footage!
There’s now a newly released image that shows a UFO shot down by a US fighter jet over Canada that happened back in 2023. Now, people have more questions than ever regarding the Unidentified Flying Object. Is it aliens? What could it be?
Was A UFO Shot Down Over Canada Or What Is That?
It’s hard to tell exactly what it is based on the grainy photo–but I guess that’s why they call them “Unidentified” Flying Objects. If we were able to identify them it wouldn’t be as big of a mystery. It appears to show a cylindrical object that’s suspected to be a balloon floating some 40,000 feet above the Yukon days before it was taken out. The image was reportedly obtained from a request with Canada’s Department of National Defence.
According to The New York Post, a US F-22 shot the object which was originally tracked flying over the state of Alaska 8 days prior to being shot down. Later, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau gave the green light to shoot it down and it was hit with an AIM 9x missile. Several similar objects were spotted around that time flying over North America and all 3 were eventually downed. One of those was in Alaska, one on Lake Huron, and another in the Yukon.
The New York Post reports that these objects were smaller than the suspected Chinese spy balloon that was spotted over Alaska around that time. I remember when that was viral and a big deal. It sounds like a lot went into deciding if the photo should be released to the public but it eventually was. An official with the Canadian Department of National Defence told The New York Post, “Should the image be released, it would be via the [Canadian armed forces] social media accounts. Given the current public environment and statements related to the object being benign, releasing the image may create more questions/confusion, regardless of the text that will accompany the post.” Well, they saw this coming! It is, indeed, very confusing and we have more questions now than ever before!
What do you think? Is it aliens? Is it foreign spies? The possibilities are endless and we may never know. The objects were all shot down but poor weather conditions created slim chances of finding debris to get more answers as to what these UFOs really are. Until we get these answers, it’s all up to our imaginations.
