Andy Leads Angry Revolt!
Andy Was The Leader Of An Angry Group At A Verizon Store
Everyone hates that feeling of being without their phone. Either you left it at home or there is a nationwide outage that is messing with your service. It makes people angry. Lisa, Andy and Al were all impacted by the Verizon Wireless outage yesterday. But only Andy ended up being the leader of an angry group of people at a Verizon store.
If you missed it, Verizon Wireless experienced an outage yesterday that impacted hundreds of thousands of people. According to reports from 12NEWS, they haven’t released the cause of the outage but are saying it could be a couple of things. It could have been a software update that malfunctioned or potentially a cyber attack.
Andy wasn’t going to wait around and see what was wrong. He went to the Verizon store for answers. What he found was a group of other angry people trying to figure out why their phones weren’t working. He became the leader rather quickly. Asking if this could potentially be a billing issue and demanding to know when the phones would be restored to working order.
Al says it’s almost like a scene out of ‘Braveheart’. Picture Andy with war paint on his face, on top of a horse, leading the angry mob at Verizon looking for answers. According to his story that’s what it felt like. He was basically William Wallace providing strength and leadership for the disgruntled public.
Service has been restored to customers after the outage. Lisa points out that if you were to connect to Wi-Fi during the outage then you could have used iMessage or accessed the internet. Andy said he gave up the idea of using his phone and didn’t try that work around. He wanted justice. In the event of emergency, it looks like Andy is our guy to lead the charge.
