A Man Blew Off His Hand With A Firework

The Los Angeles Dodgers won the World Series earlier this week and fans were celebrating, as fans do. Footage of downtown Los Angeles showed massive crowds with people lighting off fireworks. For one unfortunate Dodgers fan, he might never be the same. He blew off his hand with a firework while celebrating the World Series win.

According to TMZ, a Los Angeles Dodgers fan blew off his hand with a firework in the streets of Los Angeles. He was celebrating the world series win, when a firework exploded before he was able to clear the area. The entire incident was caught on camera and you can see the this individual bleeding from his hands.

TMZ reports, the man was transported to the hospital after receiving tourniquets on both arms. His injuries have been reported as "debilitating" but not life threatening. Certainly lucky to be alive when you see this firework explode.

Now, for the graphic video. X user, @Lakeshow_323 shared the video on X. Dodgers Fan Blows Hand Off With Firework. It is very graphic. You can see the man lighting the firework in the middle of the road, when it explodes. He stumbles around and isn't even aware that his hand is missing. He's bleeding profusely as his friends scream for someone to call 9-1-1.

What is winning worth? Definitely not your hands! I always wonder why people have to go to such extremes to celebrates these wins. None of us celebrating are on the team. Our lives aren't going to change. Just be happy, and keep it safe. Your hands are too vital. We hope it ends up being alright.
