A gender reveal party can be a fun time for your family and friends. You can all find out the gender of the baby in a fun and exciting way that’s going to be a surprise for everyone. It’s a good way to get creative and maybe you can even end up going viral online. Of course, if you do end up going viral you want it to be because your idea was so creative and cute. You don’t want to go viral for something bad happening during your gender reveal. Unfortunately, that does end up happening more than you’d think. There have been gender reveal parties that have started wildfires, gotten people injured, and more. Now, there’s a gender reveal going viral because the whole family had to evacuate the home after it filled with carbon dioxide. That’s a risk when you decide to make fog out of dry ice inside your home. Now, they’re learning that the hard way (in addition to learning that they’re having a girl, of course). Gender Reveal Causes An Evacuation Due To Carbon Dioxide

Well, it started cute, at least. Use this as a reminder to do your homework before choosing how your going to do and execute your gender reveal. It’s best to make sure you’re not doing something potentially harmful to your or your surroundings during that process. Thankfully, it looks like everyone was able to evacuate and get out of the home safely. This seems to be happening far too often! You never hear about great gender reveal ideas anymore or see any positive viral videos on them anymore. No, instead, it’s always the idea going horribly wrong or the father giving a poor reaction when the smoke comes up pink. That’s always a fun part of these videos too. When they’re clearly hoping for one result and don’t get what they want they’re instant look of disappointment is classic. There’s an NBA player who has had a bunch of girls and on his latest gender reveal when it came up pink again he did not hide his disappointment and it went viral.

It’s not always the gender reveal party that ends up going wrong. Things have gone wrong for people before they even have the chance to be surprised. Remember the story of the voicemail the mother got from the bakery about the color of their cake? It totally ruined the surprise! That would be horrible! Can you sue for that?
