Carjacker Gets Forked!

There are many things you would not want to be stabbed with. For example, a fork. But, if you were being carjacked, it would be nice to have a fork in your car to defend yourself. That's exactly what one metro Detroit man did to defend himself against a carjacker.

According to WDIV, "A 60-year-old man is facing felony charges after reportedly stealing a bag and carjacking a vehicle in St. Clair Shores. Authorities said Eddie Leon Gaines attempted to grab a 64-year-old woman’s purse when a Good Samaritan intervened by hitting him with her shopping bag. Gaines then reportedly entered the driver’s seat of a running vehicle that had a 51-year-old man in the passenger seat and drove off. Police said Gaines demanded the man’s money and threatened to shoot him and the two got into a fight. The victim was able to get the keys out of the ignition and reportedly stabbed Gaines with a fork before he ran off."

That man who did the fork stabbing was our 'Badass of the Day'. It takes a certain kind of person to stab someone, but you'd like to think if your car was being stolen you'd have the strength to do it. Could you stab a carjacker with a fork?
