Texas Janitor Spreads STDs By Peeing In Peoples’ Water Bottles

A Texas janitor spread STDs by peeing in workers' water bottles in an office. Now, he's been given a pretty light sentence for it.

That's just nasty and diabolical. Who does that? Why would you do that? That could cause so many problems for people, not just with having to deal with STDs but with the drama that would come with it. Are their partners really going to believe they caught the STDs because a Texas janitor peed in their water bottle? They'd never believe that! It sounds like he spread sexually transmitted diseases to more than a dozen office workers after peeing in their water bottles and a cooler, per The New York Post. 52-year-old Lucio Catarino Diaz has been identified as the Texas janitor who infected at least 13 women with herpes and hepatitis-A at a Houston medical building, per The New York Post.

The New York Post reports that Diaz was caught-on-camera doing the deed in the water bottles and later pleaded guilty to aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and will be eligible to seek parole in 3 years. He's already served 2 years behind bars and does not have to register as a sex offender. Sounds like he was caught after one of the victims noticed her water tasted sour and smelled odd and even had a yellowish tint. She then became suspicious that someone had messed with it, and she was correct.

She ended up setting up a camera that caught Diaz sticking his privates in her water bottle after she had gone home for the day. Can you imagine seeing that? It would be horrible! Some of the victims have filed a lawsuit against him and the custodial company that he worked for and it's seeking more than $1M in monetary relief. You can see Diaz's mugshot below.

While committing crimes may seem black and white (you either broke the law or you didn't), there are certainly some crimes that are dumber than others. Sometimes it's the crime itself that's wild, other times, it's the people committing said crimes. These are 5 of the craziest, cringeworthy crimes ever committed.

Crimes can happen anywhere, anytime, to anyone. However, it takes a very unique individual, a case study if you will, to commit some of these outrageously dumb crimes. Years ago, these criminals would have been featured on Spike TV or one of those America's Dumbest Criminal shows. Today, I'm not sure if those shows are around...and I'm certain Spike TV isn't around anymore. That's a story for another time.

Crimes can happen for a number of reasons. They may happen out of necessity. They could also happen on accident. These crimes, however, do not fall into those categories. These crimes are different. None of these would accidentally happen. They also aren't a matter of life or death. There's no ethics quiz here, or any matters of 'would you steal bread to support your family?' These crimes, and criminals, aren't straight up cringeworthy.

While all of these crimes are crazy and certainly cringeworthy, they also make for excellent conversation pieces. That's why I've gone and found five examples of the wildest stories that Dave and Chuck the Freak have talked about and made a list highlighting the best of the best.
