A fast food freakout over ranch dipping sauce led to an arrest being made. Things escalated way too far.

When you go to a restaurant, you expect good service. That is the same whether you're at a sit-down fancy restaurant or a fast food restaurant. I think this is a reason that people tend to use the drive-thru instead of going inside--it's just easier. Sounds like one teenager in Pinellas County, Florida wasn't getting attention from the employees behind the counter and decided to walk back there herself to get her ranch dipping sauce. Well, 31-year-old Akeena Sampson was in that McDonald's lobby at the time and seemingly didn't appreciate what the teen did. She ended up taking things way too far!

The Smoking Gun reports that when the teen came back into the lobby Sampson allegedly grabbed her arm and when she tried to break free she allegedly grabbed the victim by the neck and took her to the ground. She then allegedly choked the victim again while they were on the floor, per The Smoking Gun.

Sounds like the victim did end up with noticeable injuries from the incident. Sampson has been charged with child abuse and has since been released from county jail. A judge ordered her to have no contact with the victim and to stay away from the area of offense which should include that McDonald's.

You can see her mugshot provided by the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office below.

Cort Freeman was born and raised in Metro Detroit. He was named Clarkston High School 2009 Class Clown 13 years after graduating. Totally normal thing to happen. That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
