Could Hot Dog Towers be the next big summer BBQ trend? That's what it's looking like!

Have you heard of Hot Dog Towers? I've heard of Seafood Towers but never Hot Dog Towers. That was until this week when I learned that restaurants have started adding them as a cheaper alternative to the famous Seafood Towers. How does it work? One tier is hot dogs, another is fries, and then the top tier is the condiments. It's simple and it's glorious. Seafood Towers are crazy expensive and often aren't worth what you pay. Sure, you get some looks and might feel cool--but they're expensive. Hot Dog Towers might be a good American substitute.

Will 'Hot Dog Towers' Be The Next Big Summer BBQ Trend?

Honestly, it looks amazing! It's not just ordinary hot dogs, you get a variety of wieners with Hot Dog Towers. It looks like there are New York Dogs, Chicago Dogs, plain dogs, Pretzel Dogs, and more! No matter what type of dog you prefer you can probably have it as a part of your tower.

One place that sells them is Trina's Starlite Lounge in Somerville, Massachusetts. That's become a very popular one that has people talking. According to Eater, they have 40 hot dog towers that start at $35 which isn't bad at all! There's also one at Highroller Lobster Co. in Portland, Maine. Sir Wieners is another one in Charleston that has gotten the internet's attention with their incredible looking Hot Dog Towers.

I really think this could be the next big thing. It's cool looking and good for your Instagram, it looks tasty, and it's affordable! What's not to love? Don't feel like ordering them, you know it would be pretty easy to make yourself! Could have some fun at home creating your own Hot Dog Towers.

That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
