A Texas woman tricked a carjacker into handing her a knife at a gas station. It's a risk but she executed it smoothly.

When you're approached by a carjacker with a knife, you want to do whatever you can to de-escalate the situation to prevent yourself from getting stabbed and getting your car stolen. If I had to pick one, I'd rather my car get stolen and I remain unstabbed. However, if there was a way to keep my car and not get stabbed that would be perfect! It looks like this woman in Humble, Texas was able to keep her car and get the knife away from the carjacker safely! Video of it is now going viral online. Check out that video shared by ABC13 Houston on YouTube below.

Do not do what she did at home. This could have gone wrong in several ways. She could have been stabbed and she could have been run over! She's very lucky to come out of that alive, but I guess it all worked. Sure, the car has some damage but she's not stabbed and the car remains in her possession. That's good.

This is why it's good to always be alert while you're out and about. You want to see this happening before it does so you can do all you can do to prevent it. Getting stabbed and your car stolen would not be ideal. She acted fast and was able to get what she wanted, but it was so risky! Don't try that at home.

Cort Freeman was born and raised in Metro Detroit. He was named Clarkston High School 2009 Class Clown 13 years after graduating. Totally normal thing to happen. That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
