Miller Lite and Pringles could make for an interesting team! We talk about a lot of strange food collaborations on Dave & Chuck The Freak and some of them sound gross and some sound like they could end up being tasty--you really never know. However, I'd be willing to bet that this collab could end up being quite delicious. Beer and chicken go together! There's nothing too weird about these flavors, right? Sounds like it could be a great chip for a summer night and pair well with your summer BBQ.
Miller Lite Partnering With Pringles For Beer-Inspired Chips
According to a press release obtained by Food & Wine, the Miller Lite and Pringles Beer Can Chicken, "combines the flavor of savory roasted chicken complete with notes of garlic and onion with the authentic flavor of the Original Light Beer." Meanwhile, the Pringles x Miller Lite Grilled Beer Brat is described as, "smokey grilled brat flavor you know and love, with notes of black pepper, carnalized onion, and brown spice." That sounds pretty good! I have no problem with any of that.
Mauricio Jenkins, the United States head of marketing for Pringles tells Food & Wine, "At Pringles, we're dedicated to bringing new, unexpected flavors that both surprise and satisfy our fans' cravings to the market, no matter the occasion. That's why we came together with the brewing geniuses at Miller Lite to bring our two iconic brands together. These crips marry the best flavors of summer into one delicious bite that we can't wait for fans to experience." Oh yeah. That's right Pringles can't be called potato chips, right? Potato crips or potato products I think they have to be called. Weird, eh?
