A woman was busted speeding with her toddler in the car because she was late to a Thomas The Train event. She was going 102mph, according to reports!

As a parent, you want to do whatever you can to make your child happy. That likely means going to some events you might not want to go to but they do. That could include a Thomas The Train event. Kids love that stuff and you don't want to make them late! This mom was busted speeding and going 102mph trying to get to the event! Speeding might make it take you even longer though once you get pulled over.

Woman Busted Going 102mph With Toddler In Car On Way To Thomas The Train Event

According to NBC New York, it happened in Madison, Connecticut. The woman was clocked going 102 in her SUV on I-95 North with a 2-year-old in her backseat. The 37-year-old driver from Brooklyn told police she was speeding because she was running late to a Thomas The Train event in Essex.

She was arrested and charged with reckless driving, reckless endangerment in the 2nd degree, risk of injury to a minor, and failure to stop on right side of road, per NBC New York.
