A video of a coyote drinking water from a skylight window is going viral online. I've never seen anything like it.

Looking from a skylight window can be a cool experience. You can see the clouds roll by, you might be able to see some stars at night, and maybe you can even see a coyote drinking water. One of those is probably a little more rare than the others. You don't often see an animal through the skylight window outside of maybe birds. You really never expect to see one actively drinking from it. Video showing the coyote on a roof drinking from a skylight window is now going viral on social media. It's getting a lot of attention! Check out the viral video shared by @abcnews on Instagram below.

How cool is that? I've never seen anything like it. The video is captioned, "A surreal moment was captured on camera when a coyote was spotted drinking water from the skylight window on top of a Los Angeles hair salon." The video has more than 64k likes since being shared only a day ago.

A lot of the commenters are wondering how it got up there and if it was able to get down safely. Some speculate that they might have been dislocated by the fires in California. That might lead to some random sightings like this. It could make sense as an explanation. Others think it's a sign of something bad. I can also understand that line of thinking. Other commenters just marvel at what a cool sight it is to see because you never have the opportunity to see a coyote drinking water from that angle. It's unique and that's why it's going viral online. Seems like the coyote was quite thirsty.

Cort Freeman was born and raised in Metro Detroit. He was named Clarkston High School 2009 Class Clown 13 years after graduating. Totally normal thing to happen. That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
