First, there was the fan who fell from the stands during a game against the Chicago Cubs, now there's a fight breaking out between a fan and an employee! All of this within a matter of weeks too! Sure, things haven't been great for the Pittsburgh Pirates but that doesn't give fans an excuse to do this. I'm sure the team is wishing the attention was on the game instead of all the extras surrounding the team right now. However, that's not the case. Things just keep getting worse for the Pittsburgh Pirates. Their PR team is probably working over time these last few weeks. Check out a video report shared by CBS Pittsburgh on YouTube below!

How crazy is that? PNC Park, where the Pittsburgh Pirates play, is supposed to be one of the most beautiful parks in all of Major League Baseball. Fans of all teams like to visit the park to check it off their bucket list. However, this might affect things. Who's going to want to go and check out the stadium if they're scared a fight might break out or if they might see someone fall from up high? Very few people I'm sure.
According to CBS Pittsburgh, that employee has been suspended after attacking a fan at the game at PNC Park. Reports say the fight started when the fan and his friend allegedly started harassing a woman working at a concession stand. That's when the employee intervened and diverted them away from that employee, per CBS News.
The fight is now being investigated as witnesses say that the fan should also be in trouble. The Pirates released a statement saying, "We are aware of the unfortunate incident that occurred following the conclusion of yesterday's game between a PNC Park gameday employee and a guest. The employee's behavior was entirely unacceptable, and he was immediately suspended. This incident is currently under further investigation," via CBS News.
