There's a viral video making the rounds online of a humanoid robot going on the attack. Yeah, I don't think we're ready for robots.

Artificial intelligence is at an all-time high. It's incredibly what technology can do. There's so much good you can do with artificial intelligence and the possibilities are endless. It could change the world for the better. However, there are also some problems that come along with it. People have been paranoid for a long time about what could go wrong with A.I. and robots. What if they start thinking independently? What if they rise up and attack? All are valid questions, especially after seeing this viral video on social media. We are not ready for robots yet! Clearly, they are ready to attack at any given moment. Check out the viral video shared on X (formerly Twitter) below.

How scary is that? The video has more than 12.9M views since being shared at the beginning of May. It's captioned, "Just moments ago, a robot in a lab suddenly went berserk, marking the first robot rebellion in human history." Seriously, those punches look like they would really hurt! You don't want to be hit by one of those!

According to Fox News, this happened at an undisclosed factory in China. It was all caught on camera and the robot seems to resemble a Unitree H1, per Fox News. Thankfully, they were able to get it under control before it hurt anybody but it was a close call! One hit by one of those arms and you'd be knocked out cold.

The cause of the incident remains unclear but it's giving the whole world quite the scare. We aren't ready for robots, and the robots aren't ready yet either it appears.

Cort Freeman was born and raised in Metro Detroit. He was named Clarkston High School 2009 Class Clown 13 years after graduating. Totally normal thing to happen. That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
