A woman in New York City found a dead rodent in her salad! That is not supposed to be one of the ingredients!

Can you imagine finding a dead rodent in your salad? Anything dead in a salad would be gross but there's something extra disgusting about it being a dead rodent, you know, the things allegedly responsible for causing the bubonic plague. Not great! To make things worse, this isn't the first time we've talked about something like this on Dave & Chuck The Freak. Just last week, we shared a story where a woman found a dead rat in her salad. Is that what you get for choosing to eat healthy? Yikes! Check out the latest example of it happening at a New York City restaurant in a video report shared by Eyewitness News ABC7NY on YouTube below.

According to ABC7NY, the New York City health department is investigating the incident after the customer, Hannah Rasbach, seems to have received a dead rodent in her salad. That is not what you want in your meal. It appears that it happened at Ongi on West 37th in Midtown, per ABC7NY.

However, the owner, Ray Park, is insisting that the dead rodent didn't come from his business. He tells ABC7NY, "I was thinking, how can it be happening here, because we have a high standard to run every single day here." Rasbach made the right decision of going to a doctor who reportedly put her on antibiotics as a precaution, can't be too careful.

Rasbach now is hoping that they're shut down or investigated. It looks like she's getting part of her wish as the incident is now being investigated. I really can't think of a worse thing to find in your meal than a dead rodent. Especially if you're half way through eating it!

Cort Freeman was born and raised in Metro Detroit. He was named Clarkston High School 2009 Class Clown 13 years after graduating. Totally normal thing to happen. That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
