A cliff bed in Chenzhou, Central China's Hunan Province is now going viral online. The cliff bed is suspended over a drop and is part of the scenic area's outdoor adventure package, per Global Times. Sounds like you can stay on this very unique bed and enjoy the experience for only $13.50! Would you be willing to give it a try or is it something you'd rather stay far away from? The cliff bed just launched on April 28th and has already had more than 400 thrill-seekers participate. Seems like it might not be as crazy of an idea as I thought! People are wanting to participate in the experience it looks like.
Global Times says the package combines cliffside coffee and Via Ferrata (iron path) rock climbing. There are a lot of requirements if you're looking to participate in this. That includes being in the age range of 14 to 60, a weight limit, and a waist circumference limit as well.
One visitor tells Global Times that it was, "Not as terrifying as I expected. It took about half an hour to enjoy--mostly for photos and the novelty." It sounds like it meets all standards and operations are suspended during bad weather like strong winds, rain, and snow. Good to see they take safety seriously, but I don't do heights. You'd never get me anywhere close to that high.
