Your average wedding food can get boring and predictable. Chicken or fish? Maybe once and a while you'll find some steak on the menu. Sometimes, the bride and groom might mix it up and get funky with some pizza or some fast-food. You see that once and a while. What you rarely see, however, is an 8-foot pizza at a wedding. That's what this couple opted for in Rio Frio, Texas. I guess it proves the old saying true. Everything really is bigger in Texas.

How cool is that? That would be an amazing thing to do at your wedding, and an incredible thing to experience at someone else's wedding. Having an 8-foot pizza at a wedding is something everyone will be happy with. Kids? Love pizza! Adults? Love pizza! Seniors? Love pizza! Who doesn't love a good pizza, especially a massive food-fire one like that? I can't think of anybody who would object.
According to PEOPLE, Beth and Brandon Duhon are the bride and groom who served the huge pizza at their wedding. Now, they're going viral for it online. Sounds like they hired Dirt Road Cookers to make the massive pizza for their special day. If you love pizza, there's nothing better than this. There's even a variety in case you're not a fan of the standard pepperoni! There's something for everyone! It fed 160 wedding guests! That's a smart choice and probably pretty economic as well. Can't be too costly especially when you compare it to catering costs these days.
Trinity Sorrells, the wedding photographer, tells PEOPLE, "One of the coolest moments? The groom enlisted his groomsmen to help with the whole process. It took six guys to lift the giant pizza into and out of the cooker--it was a total event in itself!" If you're looking for something interesting for your wedding, a giant pizza isn't a bad idea! Massive hot dogs or a huge burger could work as well. There are plenty of options.
