Are "toilet vases" the new hot bathroom trend? According to TikTok, it looks like it!

The new trend seems to really be taking off where people are turning their ordinary toilets into toilet vases. It's as simple as it sounds. You remove the back part of your toilet, the lid, and place flowers in there. It's basically exactly what it sounds like. It turns your toilet into a vase...a toilet vase. It has all you would need in a traditional vase. A solid proactive casing that can hold the flowers, and some water. Boom. You have a toilet vase. Would you consider this for your home decor? See a video example shared on TikTok below.

Honestly, I don't hate it! The water back there is clean. It doesn't smell. It's a fun and unique way to make your bathroom look different...and possibly even smell better. I like the idea!

That video is captioned, "Guaranteed to impress your guests" and I can understand it and can see it. I know I'd be impressed if I saw that in someone's bathroom. It becomes an instant ice breaker and conversation starter. Great for a dinner party. What do you think?

Of course, not everyone seems to be on board. Some comments say it's something Meghan Markle would do and that's never great. Others say that just because you can doesn't mean you should. Meanwhile others comment their own unique ideas. Hey, I'm not saying it's a must-do! I'm just saying I don't hate it. To each their own. There are certainly worse decoration ideas out there on the internet.

Cort Freeman was born and raised in Metro Detroit. He was named Clarkston High School 2009 Class Clown 13 years after graduating. Totally normal thing to happen. That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
