The "good night, bro" prank is going viral on TikTok. People can't seem to get enough of it!

Some trends on TikTok can be annoying and just an obvious attempt at getting attention so they can go viral. You can see right through them. However, some trends end up being actually funny and worth watching. The "good night, bro" prank is definitely an example of that. Dudes are calling up their friends to wish them good night before going to bed and their reactions are often priceless. Check out an example below.

That clip above was shared by @mirandafaye01 on TikTok who shared her husband calling up a buddy to wish him good night before going to bed. That video now has more than 3 million views on the app and that number continues to climb. Now, more and more guys are doing it with their phones while recording it. It's an instant classic. Dudes need to check in on their friends more often. I love this!

People are saying we need to normalize this type of behavior for men and I agree! It's so genuine and sweet to see the way they interact like this. Why do we often hide it? It's sweet.

It's not every day that I like a trend on TikTok. I find most of them annoying but this is one I can definitely get behind. I might have to try this one. Honestly, probably don't even need to record it. It would just be nice to do. When are one of my friends going to call me doing this?

Cort Freeman was born and raised in Metro Detroit. He was named Clarkston High School 2009 Class Clown 13 years after graduating. Totally normal thing to happen. That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
