Is it time for straight men to embrace Speedo Summer? Some people are saying it's time to go free and flaunt it!

Speedos have seemingly never been in style for straight men, at least in America. Maybe in Europe it's a little different, but around here it's a fashion piece that has not been embraced by the straight male community. Is it time for that to change? Is it time to celebrate Speedo Summer? Many are saying the time has arrived!

Harry Styles has gone viral for rocking some short shorts, but he's Harry Styles! Actor Paul Mescal has also come forward saying he supports men wearing shorter shorts. So, it's backed up by some popular (and attractive) people. Does that mean it's time to embrace the trend?

Not everyone has a body like Harry or Paul, so I warn to proceed with caution. It's not for everyone! Walton Goggins has also gotten in on the fun and went viral for rocking a speedo. He's not as traditionally sexy as Harry or Paul so maybe he's the key to getting the trend to take off! He's more relatable than the other guys, that's for sure.

It could finally be time for straight men to participate in Speedo Summer. What do you think? Read more about the possibility of Speedo Summer from GQ here.

Cort Freeman was born and raised in Metro Detroit. He was named Clarkston High School 2009 Class Clown 13 years after graduating. Totally normal thing to happen. That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
