Doing backflips is already hard enough. Having to do them quickly in an effort to beat a world record would certainly make it even more difficult. Then, add a cherry on top by setting your self on fire. It doesn't sound very easy and I can't imagine many people are chomping at the bit to be next in line to give this record a shot. No, it might stand for a long time. Check out a video of the impressive accomplishment shared by the Guinness World Records on YouTube below! And...don't try this at home.

According to Guinness World Records, the man in the video is Ryan Luney from the United Kingdom and he actually holds multiple Guinness World Records titles that he's set while on fire. So, it sounds like this is his thing. I guess if you're comfortable trying one activity while on fire, why not try several out while you're at it? Few people are willing to try it, so he likely found a unique niche.
He was able to perform 7 backflips in 30 seconds while on fire, per UPI. The 28-year-old daredevil was wearing protective gear while he was engulfed in flames, but I don't think that should take away from the accomplishment at all. Crazy! Good for him for finding his thing and coming out of it safely and unharmed. Again, don't try this at home!
