Deciding to take a selfie with an animal is always a risky choice. Maybe let someone else take the picture as you handle the animal and try to ensure your own safety. That sounds like a better idea! It would definitely be awful if the animal decided to snap while you were trying to get the picture. That's apparently what happened to this Indian tourist in Thailand. The incident was shared on X (formerly Twitter) and was viewed more than 3.7 million times.

In the video, you can see the tourist approaching the chained tiger with a trainer standing close by. He then kneels next to the animal to take a selfie and the trainer appears to use a stick to keep the tiger calm. Then, the tiger pounces and lunges at the man.
Thankfully, it sounds like he only received minor injuries during the attack. However, it has gone viral and people are calling him out for the poor decision. That is not a reason you want to go viral for. He ruined a cool moment too! You know how cool it would be to hang out with a tiger? You just have to do one thing--not upset it! That did not happen.
