Arrest Made After Shots Fired From Rented Lamborghini During Metro-Detroit Wedding Celebration

An arrest has been made after shots were fired from a rented Lamborghini during a Metro-Detroit wedding celebration. Safe to say they took celebrating a little too far!

It's good to celebrate a loved one getting married. There are many ways you can do it. However, it's always best if you choose to celebrate people in a way that's safe and legal. This incident was neither of those. It happened in Dearborn, just outside of Detroit, Michigan. Now, an arrest has been made an the sports car has been seized. You can't celebrate this way!

According to WDIV, the wedding celebration included several cars going from Canton to Dearborn on June 1st. During these celebrations, dash cam footage shows someone firing shots from the passenger side of the purple Lamborghini. Law enforcement investigated and traced the wedding celebration back to a banquet hall in Dearborn Heights, per WDIV.

The Lamborghini was eventually seized by police and a suspect was arrested. They are now facing charges for reckless discharge of a firearm. Dearborn Police Chief Issa Shahin tells WDIV, "We want the community to know that we are not going to tolerate reckless or dangerous behavior in the name of celebration. Firing a weapon from a moving vehicle--especially in a crowded area--is not only illegal, it puts lives at risk. Dearborn is a city that welcomes joyful gatherings, but when celebrations turn into public safety threats, we will act swiftly and decisively. Let this be a clear message: If you break the law in our city, we will find you, and we will hold you accountable." Powerful message!
