A video is going viral showing a baby alligator perform their iconic death roll. I guess they're born with it!

You might have heard about how alligators will perform a death roll where they spin with something in their mouth to subdue they're prey. It turns out, this is something instinctual with gators. Seeing a baby as small as this one already knowing how to do the death roll is really impressive and the internet has taken notice. It's giving us a unique glimpse into the behavior of alligators and their instincts. You don't want to get trapped in a gator's death roll, but if you have to hopefully it's as small as this one. Check out the viral video shared by Nature is Amazing on X (formerly Twitter) below.

Crazy that it's this small and already knows how to do a death roll. I guess that's why they're so good at it. They start from a very very young age it looks like. That video has already been seen more than 650k times!

Commenters are amazed how it already knows how to do it, but it looks like they're born with it. They naturally know how to do it from birth which is wild. I guess after all these years it makes sense that they just know how to do it. It's survival. Plus, alligators are like dinosaurs! They've been around a long long time.

That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
