A guy known locally as "Power Man" saved an old lady in a dramatic rescue. Now, he's going viral for his heroics.

You have likely heard of Spider-Man, Superman, and Batman...but what about Power Man? Probably not. However, the real life super hero is now trending online after he saved a 79-year-old woman who was in a roll over accident. It happened in Dearborn, Michigan just outside of Detroit. Check out a video report from Click On Detroit (WDIV) on YouTube below!

According to WDIV, Dearborn police were alerted to a single-vehicle crash outside of the Kroger and ABC Warehouse parking lot on Michigan Avenue after an elderly woman and her driver rolled over after hitting a yellow parking pole. That's when the now famous Power Man, Mahmoud Sobh, went on top of the overturned car and was able to hold the door open allowing the 79-year-old woman to be freed.

Sobh tells WDIV, "I grew up in this community. I love my community. I love my people. I love my family. (The elderly woman) hugged me and thanked me. Over here, we're all human beings. We're all under one nation, which is God. So we have to look out for each other, no matter white, Black, Arabic, Mexican--we have to look out for each other." And look out he did!

The world could use more people like him! When that fight or flight response kicks in not everyone would be willing to step up and help but he was!

Cort Freeman was born and raised in Metro Detroit. He was named Clarkston High School 2009 Class Clown 13 years after graduating. Totally normal thing to happen. That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
