An Australian woman found a working phone inside her takeout food. You'd never expect to find that in your takeout food!

Many unexpected things have been found inside of takeout foot. Remember the story of someone finding a finger in their chili? That's just one example but people have probably found anything and everything in their food at some point. Stuff can easily slip and fall in there without noticing. However, something as large as a phone has to be a bit more rare. That's what happened to this woman in Adelaide, Australia when she found a working phone inside her takeout food!

According to The New York Post, the woman, named Shraddha, ordered a hotpot from a shop and after eating most of the meal and took the rest home for later and then noticed something strange. She was picking at it and eventually discovered a working phone at the bottom of the container. You would really never expect to find that. Someone had to be panicking about their missing phone!

How could that phone still be working after sitting in a hotpot? You'd think the liquid and the extremely hot temperatures would have ruined the phone. However, that doesn't appear to be the case! She was given money back and offered free food, per The New York Post. Some commenters have said that any deal isn't good enough unless she gets free hotpot for life.

Cort Freeman was born and raised in Metro Detroit. He was named Clarkston High School 2009 Class Clown 13 years after graduating. Totally normal thing to happen. That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
