A giant sausage left behind at an England nightclub left the staff incredibly confused. As you can imagine, that would be a strange discovery.

When you work at a nightclub, you're probably used to seeing some pretty crazy stuff. People probably get busy on the dance floor, get overserved and do weird things, and more. Those things are probably common at a nightclub. What's not as common? Finding a giant sausage left behind in the nightclub. You'd expect to see things like wallets, phones, and keys left behind, sure--but a giant sausage? It's even partially eaten! It happened at 147 nightclub in Coventry, England. Staff estimates the giant sausage was originally 12 inches long and there are even pictures from that night with people dancing with it and taking pictures with it. Why was it there? We may never know.

Chris, the venue manager, tells Coventry Telegraph, "Whilst doing our end of night venue checks and cleaning down we found the sausage and couldn't believe it--we've found some random and strange items before, but a sausage? It was huge. There was absolutely no explanation."

If you can cry in the club, you can get hungry in the club, I suppose. Someone probably just brought a large snack into the club to share with guests. Whatever their reason was it's now going viral online and has created quite the stir.

Cort Freeman was born and raised in Metro Detroit. He was named Clarkston High School 2009 Class Clown 13 years after graduating. Totally normal thing to happen. That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
