Is a British cop going to lose his job for farting in a co-worker's face? It's looking like a real possibility.

People lose their jobs over all sorts of crazy behavior. We've shared many stories about that happening on Dave & Chuck The Freak. People have fought at work, set up hidden cameras, and more. Now, this time around it's a little bit different. I'm not sure if we've shared a story like this before. A British cop is now facing a potential firing over farting in his co-worker's face after she refused to pull his finger. This is just all sorts of wrong. The "pull my finger prank" has its places, I'm sure, but at work with a co-worker probably isn't one of them!

According to Daily Star, a Metropolitan police officer is facing the sack after he allegedly farted in a female co-worker's face during a shift at Wembley Police Station. This is a story that's hard to believe is real but here we are.

Daily Star reports that PC Wayne Sansom reportedly asked the officer to pull his finger and then turned his back, standing on his toes, and farted just inches from her face. Yeah, you can't do that. You should avoid doing that to your partner or spouse let alone co-worker. It's going to get you in trouble.

The reported incident happened in November of 2021. A prosecutor told the panel, "He fully accepts his attempt at humour was misplaced and inappropriate in a modern policing workplace," per Daily Star. A hearing and investigation remains ongoing but he could end up losing his job over it!

That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
