A hungry Chinese boy is going viral for running back to the table for food during an earthquake. Is it worth it?

When an earthquake or some kind of weather disaster happens, you need to do what ever you can to get to safety quickly. The last thing you want to do is double back for some food--it's risky! However, this clearly hungry Chinese boy couldn't help himself! He wanted more food and that's what was going to happen. Now, that video of him going back to the table during an earthquake is going viral on social media.

According to SCMP, it was a 4.3-magnitude earthquake. In the video, you can see the hungry Chinese boy head back to the table as the rest of his family heads to safety. The boy is unidentified currently but I'm sure it'll all come out soon as the video continues to go viral and get views.

It reportedly happened in Qingyuan in Guangdong province in Southern China. He doubled back for some food despite his father's calls to run. The father, whose surname is Li, says his older son even wanted to go back to get his drone. What's up with kids? Get to safety! Go back for a pet, sure. However, anything else you probably have to leave behind. Chances are it'll all be okay!

Li tells Jimu News, "At the time, I was so nervous and just kept telling him to run, run. He has a natural comedic gene. I only realized how funny it was after watching the video."

Cort Freeman was born and raised in Metro Detroit. He was named Clarkston High School 2009 Class Clown 13 years after graduating. Totally normal thing to happen. That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
