Florida Man Fires Shots At Garbage Truck During Chase

A Florida man has been accused of firing shots at a garbage truck during a chase! It happened in Zephyrhills, Florida.

It really feels like we're sharing a horrible road rage incident on Dave & Chuck The Freak every day now! You really can't risk honking or doing anything to another driver without risking being shot at these days it seems like! This time, it was an argument that reportedly started in the parking lot of a Wawa and led to a Florida man chasing a garbage truck while firing shots. In the end, there was a collision and now 2 men are in the hospital and one is in jail, per FOX 13 News.

FOX 13 News reports that a man showed up at AdventHealth Zephyrhills with a gunshot wound to his arm and the victim told detectives that he was shot by his acquaintance, 46-year-old Quinson De'Shawn Croson, after the 2 of them had a brief verbal exchange inside the Wawa on Gall Boulevard around 5:30am. During their conversation, the victim reportedly believed that Croson was intoxicated and suggested he go home. Sounds like that's when things escalated.

Police tell FOX 13 News that Croson allegedly followed the victim and his co-worker in his SUV and confronted them while inside their Waste Connections garbage truck. That's when FOX 13 News says Croson pulled out a handgun and fired it several times while following the garbage truck through the city. Eventually, his SUV crashed into the garbage truck causing the passenger side door to open sending the victim's co-worker from the vehicle. He suffered non-life threatening injuries and was treated.

Croson was later apprehended after leaving the scene in his damaged SUV. He has been charged with 2 counts of attempted homicide and one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. You can see his mugshot provided by the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office below.

Garbage trucks might seem unbeatable but they can still be damaged! You don't want to be inside of one while someone is firing shots at you. It's not like they're a tank or anything!
