Prankster Throws Marshmallows Around Course To Mess With Golfers

A prankster is going viral for throwing marshmallows around a golf course to mess with other golfers. I'm sure this is working as he planned.

As a golfer, it can be difficult to locate your ball after you hit it. Maybe it went too far for you to see clearly (I wish), maybe you hit it into the rough or the woods and it's hard to see (more likely), or maybe you get it confused with another player's ball--or mistake your ball for a marshmallow. Typically, those aren't supposed to be out on the course. However, if you play the same holes as this guy then you might have come across some while you play. You have to imagine it has certainly frustrated someone at one point, making it all worth it. Why would it be frustrating to find? Because it looks just like a golf ball so you'd approach it thinking it's yours only it find it's a ball of sugar and you still haven't found your ball. That brief moment of confusion would make it all worth it. The viral video was shared on TikTok by @toodirtydom and now has more than 7 million views on the platform. Seems like it's a relatable prank.

How great is that? You can see the genuine joy he gets from doing this written all over his face. You can't blame him! He knows what he's doing.

Of course, golf is no stranger to pranks. If you've ever been in a league or played with friends often then you know this. There are exploding golf balls, exploding tees, weighted clubs, and more. Recently, there have been a lot of viral videos on golf courses of people messing with their friends with fake snakes. That's always a good way to get a reaction. However, that can be too scary. Instead, maybe prank them with a harmless marshmallow like this guy. I know I would, personally, be incredibly frustrated if I thought I found my ball only to realize it was a marshmallow. I've lost many balls on the course and understand how tough it can be to find your ball and the relief you feel when you finally locate it. Taking that away? Not a good feeling!
