Everyone claims to have a crazy ex. However, some tend to be crazier than others. Some will just text you a lot or say nasty things about you or maybe make up a rumor or 2. Other ex's will keep an eye on your and still creep on your social media. While you don't want either of those happening, they don't hold a candle to what this Texas woman did. According to The New York Post, a Texas woman is now facing felony charges after trying to kill her ex-husband by hiring a hitman who got cold feet and then by trying to send him fentanyl-laced chocolates as a congratulations for his new engagement. That is much crazier than your average crazy ex!

According to The New York Post, that Texas woman has been identified as 63-year-old Pamela Jean Stanley and she was reportedly caught on tape by an undercover officer inquiring about injecting fentanyl into a box of high-end chocolates she wanted to deliver to her ex, 66-year-old Jeffrey Kauth. Sounds like they were some nice chocolates. Why put those to waste? Simple cheat chocolates would suffice, no? The New York Post says the package would also include a faux honeymoon incentive from a travel agency. She went all out to try to get him it sounds like!
18 months prior to this going down, The New York Post says the victim says she tried to hire a hitman to assassinate him but that hitman got cold feet. She happened to hire the one hitman with a conscious? This is wild. He believes she wanted him dead so she could covet his son's inheritance and reclaim the home they shared prior to their divorce, per The New York Post.
She was arrested and booked on charges of criminal solicitation with intent to commit murder, criminal attempt to commit murder, and possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. She also had 9.5grams of meth on her at the time of her arrest, per reports.
