A woman reportedly found a mouse at the bottom of her Monster Energy drink! That's not the monster you want to find in your beverage.

Finding a mouse at the bottom of your Monster Energy drink is so much worse than finding it at the top of your drink. Had it been at the top, you would have immediately seen it and recognized it as a mouse, and thus would not have consumed the beverage. However, finding a mouse at the bottom of your Monster Energy drink would be a problem because that means you already drank the liquid--the liquid that's been holding a dead mouse inside. You don't want that in your body! Unfortunately, that appears to be the reality for one woman from Grand Rapids, Michigan. See a video report from FOX 2 Detroit below.

Can you imagine that happening to you? I'd never trust a can again! It would truly be life changing in a terrible way.

According to FOX 2 Detroit, this happened to McKenzie Cain who bought a white Monster from a bagel shop in Grand Rapids and drank it all in her car. Don't like hearing that as white is my favorite! Afterwards, she noticed it still felt heavy and she smelled something strange. That's when she looked inside the can and saw a mouse in her Monster. That's probably one of the last things you want to find inside your drink. If I do recall, rodents were blamed for spreading the Black Plague and that is not something you'd like to have repeated.

Cain is now suing Monster Energy after finding the dead mouse in her drink. She was also tested for a panel of illnesses but was given the all-clear, per FOX 2 Detroit. However, it sounds like it left an impact mentally on her as it left her with depression and anxiety, according to reports. If the case isn't settled it is expected to go to trial.

Always check your drinks for extra weight before you drink them. It would be so much better to find a dead animal inside your beverage before you start drinking it compared to after.

Cort Freeman was born and raised in Metro Detroit. He was named Clarkston High School 2009 Class Clown 13 years after graduating. Totally normal thing to happen. That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
