If you order food for delivery, this is exactly what you're hoping doesn't happen. That's why it's so important that restaurants take the extra step to keep that from happening. They now put stickers over the drink hole, stickers on every item to make sure to prove that it's shut and wasn't opened while en-route to the destination. That can make you feel good and feel like it's safe to eat. You don't want your 6-piece nugget to arrive with only 5 and you don't want a driver sampling your fries before you get to taste them. It looks like that's what happened here. A DoorDash delivery driver was caught on camera reaching into a customer's bag and conducting his own taste test! It happened at a McDonald's in New York City.

No! The bag was even shut with the sticker to prevent the delivery driver from doing that but he still did it! He snuck his hand right in there and helped himself to some fries. If it wasn't caught on video, the person would have no idea it happened to them! You wouldn't notice a couple missing fries. A bite out of a burger? Sure! But not this.

It's actually unknown if the delivery driver completed the delivery or not. The person still could have eaten the food unknowingly. You don't want a stranger's hand in your foot. Especially a bike delivery driver! He had to have been dirty and sweaty after pedaling around the city--New York City, at that. That is not ideal. Hopefully the person recording the video brought it to the restaurant's attention or didn't let the driver go.

This is the perfect example of why I can't order from delivery services. You just don't know who's on the other end. Additionally, it's always so much more expensive. It's so much easier and cost friendly to go get in your car and get it yourself. As we say on Dave & Chuck The Freak all the time, "it ain't worth it!"

Cort Freeman was born and raised in Metro Detroit. He was named Clarkston High School 2009 Class Clown 13 years after graduating. Totally normal thing to happen. That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
