California Man Caught Shoplifting 21 Bottles Of Probiotics

A California man was busted for shoplifting 21 bottles of probiotics. Even though it has its benefits, you still can't steal them!

The California man was caught shoplifting $1,500 worth of merchandise from 3 pharmacies in the Bay Area recently. Items stolen ranged from dental products, medications, and even 21 bottles of probiotics, per KRON 4. It's nice for gut health but it's always preferred that you purchase your probiotics instead of stealing them. What a wild thing to choose to take. You're surrounded by goods but you decide to take 21 bottles of probiotics? Something must be happening with this guy's gut.

According to KRON 4, the suspect has been identified as 32-year-old Tyler Jones. Sounds like he was planning on reselling the items in San Francisco. I'm not sure who's going to be that desperate to get mass quantity of probiotics quickly, however. That doesn't seem to have the greatest demand out on the streets, as far as I know.

Jones was caught riding his bike at night with no light and during the stop he admitted that he thought he was being stopped because Safeway employees suspected him of stealing, per KRON 4. Sometimes, we end up confessing our guilt without knowing it, I guess.

KRON 4 reports that the deputy seized the stolen items and 2 fentanyl pipes that were also in the man's possession. He was booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail for organized retail theft and drug charges.

Cort Freeman was born and raised in Metro Detroit. He was named Clarkston High School 2009 Class Clown 13 years after graduating. Totally normal thing to happen. That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
